Before joining FocalPoint, Ed worked as a senior business and technology leader in several medium to large organizations, as well as being an entrepreneur owning and partnering in several small businesses. One of these key roles included over 16 years at Bellevue University, where he was the Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Architect & Transformation Leader, and also Deputy Chief Information Officer. He also served as an instructor for the MBA program for Advanced Organizational Behavior. During his time there, Ed oversaw all aspects of IT application and project management, managing an $8+ million budget. With his leadership, Bellevue University achieved record-setting efficiencies and significant cost savings.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska Omaha, Ed's passion for helping others extends beyond his professional life. He is a craftsman and woodworker and designs and crafts furniture. For almost 25 years, Ed has been traveling with his wife, Dawn, and their two children, Keith and Kailyn, through parts of the US and Canada and throughout the Caribbean.
